The Healing Chords: Renowned Australian Artist Announces He Performed At a Pitch Considered A Healing Tone

Sydney, Australia, January 12, 2014 – Pakistan-born Australian artist Mahmood Khan recently performed at the Sydney Opera House on November 16, 2013. The event was recorded and the artist has now announced he performed at a concert pitch of 432 Hz and not 440 Hz. Khan revealed he chose this pitch because of its healing properties. 432 Hz is a pitch believed to help individuals experience healing, as it's a natural and organic sound in tone with one's body. When asked about why he adopted this route for his pitch, he stated, “We are all vibrations. Everything around us is vibration and we respond to sound. For years I have been studying the effects of sound on our bodies and consciousness. I am particularly interested in how we can manifest different realities based on which thoughts we give our attention to, and how we can use this knowledge to heal ourselves.” Music and consciousness experts believe listening to music at 432 Hz can help your body by releasing emotional blockages. The pitch also helps the mind, by expanding your consciousness. Khan continued, “I cannot tell you how exciting it is to know that when we play our music at 432 Hz, we are actually healing our audiences. This is a soothing entertainment that heals and inspires. I think it's the most exciting discovery of my career.” He looks forward to more concerts using this “healing tune” and helping his audience benefit from the gentle nature of the harmonic tone, one song at a time. Khan is set to perform at the Mind Body Spirit Festival on Feb 28th and March 2nd in Brisbane. For more information on Khan and his career, please visit Official site and Facebook page.
